Schedule for Development of the Lower Clark Fork Tributaries Sediment TMDLs

 

The table below shows the progression of the sediment TMDL development project for tributaries in the Lower Clark Fork Tributaries TMDL Planning Area. This project has been completed and the final document can be found on DEQ's Final TMDL Documents webpage.

As the project progressed, orginal projected start and end dates were struck through and new dates posted beneath.  

 

Project Updates: 

12-7-09: The LCF TMDLs are on hold until the Upper Clark Fork TMDLs are completed. New schedule dates have not been determined. 

2-17-10: Work on the LCF TMDLs has resumed and the new schedule is posted. Note that Jim Bond will be out of the office for the majority of April and therefore schedule dates are organized around his time away.

3-9-10: An error was found in the listed dates for TAG review of the TMDLs and Allocations. The correct dates have been posted.

5-13-10: The project has fallen about a month behind schedule. New dates have not been determined.

9-22-10: A Public Meeting has been set for Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Noxon Emergency Services Building in Noxon, Montana from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Jim Bond, DEQ Senior TMDL Planner, will be reviewing the final draft document and accepting written comments. Contact Jim Bond (406-444-3548), Christina Staten (406-444-2836) or Mike Miller (406-847-5560) if you need additional information. 

10-13-10: The Public Comment Period has closed and final edits are being made to the document in preparation for submittal to the U.S. EPA for approval.

10-29-10: The final document will be submitted to EPA for approval on Wednesday, November 3, 2010!

4-28-11: Document approval has not been received from EPA. Once received, the final document will be posted to DEQ's Final TMDL Documents webpage.

5-26-11: The final, approved document has been posted to DEQ's Final TMDL Documents webpage.
